Allison Nech is a flute player and music educator located in the Los Angeles area. She is currently pursuing her teaching credentials at California State University, Los Angeles, and recently earned her Bachelors of Music Education from Cal State LA. Allison studied flute with Diane Alancraig in her undergrad and had guidance in music education from Dr. Emily Moss. She also has been serving at her church, Iglesia de Jesucristo Judá, for the past seven years in the worship group. She has been able to perform classical music, repertoire for wind band, and music from various Christian genres such as worship, praise, jubilation, and revival.
Her passion and love for music has allowed her to continue playing and performing in a university setting and pursue a degree in music education. Allison hopes to be able to bring the joys of music and music education to the youth and adults of all ages in order to inspire and help them nurture their passion for music. She hopes to give back to her community and church by teaching, creating, and guiding musicians who also have a passion for music. Also, she wishes for her students to not only become great musicians, but also great individuals. No matter your age, level in music, and musical background, Allison believes that anyone who is passionate about music and who is dedicated to their growth as a musician is entitled to having an education in music.
