Nicolas Aguila
THEORY 1B INSTRUCTOR
Nicolas Aguila is a composer and arranger born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. His journey started as a classical percussionist where he joined the Los Angeles Youth Orchestra. Nicolas’ love and curiosity for music drove him to learn other instruments and expand from classical music. He played trombone in a jazz band, tuba and snare in marching band, guitar in metal bands, and produced music in the hip hop scene. Nicolas is currently in his last year at California State University Northridge pursuing a bachelors of music in Media Composition, where he arranges and composes pieces his fellow students perform. He plans on composing music for video games, further developing his teaching career, and getting a masters degree after he graduates from CSUN.
