For the Spring 2026 Quarter, in order to enroll into our music program as a new student, students must demonstrate that they have the ability to play an instrument(s) and be able to understand basic theory, usually through participation in a public or private school music program and/or studying privately.  Any students who do not have prior experience are encouraged to enroll in the Fall 2026 Quarter.

In order to sign up for classes, you will need to fill out this registration form, prior to arriving at Jefferson Middle School.  Pre-filling out the form before coming to sign your child(ren) up for class(es) will help expedite the registration and audition process!

On the day of the registration, students and parents MUST be present.  Students will be required to audition for accurate class placement (Audition piece DOES NOT NEED to be memorized AND should be NO MORE than 2 minutes long!).  Remember to bring the instrument and music for the audition!

With the exception of the piano, which will be available for the audition, you will need to bring the instrument you wish to study with you.

***Fall 2026 registration for returning and new students will take place in September 2026.  There will not be any Fall 2026 priority registration for students enrolled in this quarter scheduled in the Spring 2026 Quarter.  Please check back in late July for more details about the Fall 2026 registration event and dates for the 2026-2027 school year.***
