Registration ONLY—September 26

9:00 AM to 9:30 AM – Registration for students who were enrolled in Spring 2026 Quarter.

9:30 AM to 10:30 AM – Demonstration of Instruments in the Gym for new students.

10:30 AM to 12:30 PM – Registration for ALL students (Returning and New).

In order to sign up for classes, you will need to fill out this registration form, prior to arriving at Jefferson Middle School.  Pre-filling out the form before coming to sign your child(ren) up for class(es) will help expedite the registration and audition process!

On the day of the registration, students and parents MUST be present.  Students will be required to audition for accurate class placement (Audition piece DOES NOT NEED to be memorized AND should be NO MORE than 2 minutes long!)  Remember to bring the instrument and music for the audition!

If you DO NOT have any music, our teachers will provide the music for you during the audition.  If you are NOT currently in a school music program and are not studying privately with a private lesson teacher, please see our resource table for information on instrument rentals.

With the exception of the piano, which will be available for the audition, you will need to bring the instrument you wish to study with you.

If you missed the Fall 2026 Registration event on Saturday, 9/26/2026, you will still be able to register your child(ren) for our music program on Saturday, 10/3, 10/10 and 10/17, with a late registration fee of $10 applying on 10/17/26.

***Registration desk opens at 8:00 AM on Saturday, 10/3, 10/10, and 10/17.***

PARKING AT JEFFERSON MIDDLE SCHOOL

There will be plenty of parking at the Jefferson Middle School (JMS).  If not, there is street parking on either Las Tunas or Muscatel.  Approaching JMS, make a right turn to enter the parking lot on the north of the JMS campus from traveling eastbound on Las Tunas Drive.
